The art house genre requires more intellectual and open minded audience than other more popular genres. This is because of the unusual content, which includes weird stories that might even disgust others, or requires a cultural background understanding. Some have subtitles which limits the audience appeal. Most people used to Hollywood blockbusters that is only made for entertainment, while quirky films might have something more to say.We have created a questionnaire to research audience’s opinion on art films and if they would be interested in them.

They enjoyed the film because it was quirky and interesting. Some people thought that arthouse films were based on untouchable subjects, and this was unique yet some thought it was a little odd.
